The Picot Straight is a technical, lightweight, and ergonomic carabiner. Designed for climbers seeking maximum performance and control, it stands out for its optimized geometry and excellent maneuverability in any situation on the wall.

The rope contact area is reinforced to extend the lifespan of the set.

Its hot-forged gate offers ergonomics that facilitate handling in all types of situations.

Its name refers to the Picot bird, known for its sharp and defined beak.

CLIPPING IS MORE PRECISE AND AGILE THAN EVER
Optimized geometry: With a hot-forged gate, the Picot Curve facilitates rope insertion and offers an exceptional 24 mm opening range.
Facilitates opening: The hot-forged Picot Straight gate provides a large contact surface for the thumb, easing opening.
Extends the life of the set: With a width of 11 mm, it creates a larger curvature radius of the rope over the carabiner, reducing wear and extending the lifespan of both rope and carabiner.
Snagfree: The lower part of its nose is smoothed to facilitate unclipping from the bolt and the rope.
Conical Nose: Its pointed, conical nose allows precise and smooth insertion into hangers or other connection points without obstacles, and eases release during dismantling.
Keylock: Prevents snags with the rope or hanger during clipping.
Double anti-rotation bump: Present on the hanger-side carabiner, with a bump on the body and another on the gate, it reduces the chance of rotation and prevents the sling from slipping through, keeping it properly positioned at all times.
Resistance: 22 kN closed, 8 kN cross-loaded, and 8 kN with gate open (EN 12275).
